Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model runs entirely on your device, inside your browser. Your photo never leaves your phone or computer.
Why does the first use download about 91 MB?
That download is the AI model itself. Because the AI lives in your browser instead of on a server, it needs to arrive once. Your browser remembers it, so later visits start instantly.
Which format is the result?
With a transparent background you get a PNG. If you pick a solid background colour instead, you can download a JPG.
Is it really free?
Yes — no sign-up, no watermark, no per-image credits. The AI runs on your own device, so there is no server bill to pass on to you.
Why did it take a while on my phone?
The AI does heavy maths on your device. Newer phones and computers finish faster; older devices can take a minute or two. Very large photos are processed at up to 2560 px on the longest side to keep your device from running out of memory.
