FAQ
What is lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is placeholder text used by designers and developers to fill a layout before the real words are ready. It looks like Latin, but it is mostly scrambled pseudo-Latin, so readers focus on the design instead of the words.
Is the text different every time?
Yes. Each click generates a fresh mix of classic lorem ipsum words, unless you tick 'Start with the classic sentence', which always opens with 'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…'.
Can I use the generated text anywhere?
Yes. Lorem ipsum is in the public domain — use it in mockups, wireframes, templates and demos without credit or restriction.
